Waxess USA - Hide Kanakubo, CEOHideyuki KanakuboPresident and Chief Executive Officer, AirTouch Inc.; Chairman of the Board, AirTouch Labs

Graduating from Bucknell in 1983, Kanakubo joined Uniden and served as a managing director for Uniden Japan and president for its US operations, as well as its holding company Uniden Financial, Inc prior to founding the Company in 2004. Three decades of experience in wireless communications provided Mr. Kanakubo with a profound understanding of consumer electronics and product development, as well as knowledge of the telecommunications industry.

Waxess USA - Jerome KaiserJerome Kaiser, Chief Financial Officer, AirTouch Inc. and AirTouch Labs

Mr. Kaiser brings over 25 years of financial and industry experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer.  He is responsible for finance, administration and investor relations and plays a key role in developing the company’s business strategy.  Prior to joining the company, he held executive management positions at ORYXE Energy International, Inc., Liz Claiborne, Inc., Meguiar’s, Inc., Mikasa, Inc., and Ultramar, Inc.  He earned a master’s degree in Business Taxation from California State University and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting (cum laude) from Pepperdine University, and is a member of the American Institute and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Waxess USA - NakamaHidekazu Nakama, Chief Technical Officer, AirTouch Japan

Mr. Nakama has over twenty years of experience in wireless communication development, including product design and development, RF design, analog and digital circuitry, manufacturing support, and technical project and team management. Mr. Nakama started his career as an engineer at Uniden Corporation in 1982. He became Engineering Manager in 1990, Chief Engineering Manager in 1994, and an Engineering Director in 1998.

Waxess USA - Mike WyattMichael J. Wyatt, Vice President, National Sales and Marketing

With over 14 years of experience in sales and marketing of telecommunication products, Mr. Wyatt is a true expert in business development.  He held various executive director and sales management roles with Uniden Corporation, NER and Sprint.  He joined the company in 2005, and is responsible for leading brand strategy, marketing, sales and public relations.

Waxess USA - David LeeDavid Lee, Vice President Sales China

With over two decades of experience in electronics manufacturing and expertise in start-up and business expansion, Mr. Lee is responsible for the vision, strategy, and consumer product development of the company.  He previously held executive director roles at Uniden/Unitic and E.F. Johnson, and has a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New York.

Waxess USA - Robert BeltRobert Belt, Director of Sales

Mr. Belt is responsible for customer service and channel management throughout North America.  An expert communicator, Mr. Belt has represented electronic consumer products in a variety of markets.  He has served in senior management of various companies including Systems Engineering & Management Company (SEMCO), SAFCO Corporation, InTouch USA Inc., Unitech Industries Inc., and Metro Mobile (Bell Atlantic) CTS Inc., where he devised the first cellular phone lease and airtime bundling strategy.

Waxess USA - David BuiDavid Bui, Software Engineer

Mr. Bui is responsible for developing the DM1000 and DM500. Prior to joining Waxess in 2004, he held management positions at Center Comm Inc., Microtune Inc. and Haalee USA Inc., where he developed real-time embedded cordless phones. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego.

Waxess USA - Bryce McGuireBryce McGuire, Technical Support & Logistics Manager

Mr. McGuire brings over 20 years of technical support management and industry experience to his role as Technical Support and Logistics Manager. He is responsible for providing customer service as well as implementing and ensuring quality control of Waxess products. Prior to joining the company, Mr. McGuire held management roles at Uniden America Corporation, GM/Hughes’ DIRECTV and Cable Electronics, Inc. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology.
